I’m an artist-curator and writer based in Vienna, Austria.

I value intersectional feminism and sustainable work structures, including cooperation at eye level and with care.

My practice includes curating, writing and publishing, as well as object and image-based techniques such as assemblage and digital collage.  My work is often based on found material and developed from an ongoing research in the fields of semantics and tools of storytelling. I use notions of miniatures and models to examine the creation of value and knowledge in relation to the techniques of the collection and play.

In 2015, a vacant space in Vienna fell into my lap and I founded the curatorial project _____TIM NOLAS. Through a form of thematically oriented group exhibitions, the project explores the boundaries of curatorial and artistic languages. Until 2020 the project was based in Viennas 8th district, now it operates nomadically and in collaboration.

I studied Fine Arts at the University of Applied Arts Vienna and the Academy of Fine Arts in Brunswick, Germany. My work has been exhibited within Europe at institutions and museums such as Villa Stuck in Munich, FAIT Galery in Brno, 21er Haus - Museum of Contemporary Art Vienna, MAK, Künstlerhaus and Kunsthalle Karlsplatz Vienna.
